Hello my name is Gordon Fry, President of Interlaken Inc.
Our business has been performing component-level electronic troubleshooting and repair since 1991.
In February of 1995, I was also employed by National Optronics as an Electrical Designer. In April of 2018, the decision was made to cease all future product design and move all existing manufacturing overseas. Therefore, the services of the Engineering staff were no longer required.
At the onset of my 23 year employment, the Horizon II, Horizon III, Saturn Frame Tracer and Vista Generator were all in production.
I helped redesign the Vista Generator into what is now called the 2G.
I later helped redesign the 2G Electronic Enclosures to integrate some Switch Mode Power Supplies and utilize the newer USB technology.
I contributed to the electrical design on several iterations of their new Frame Tracer products (Saturn NP, 4T & 4TX), as well as the development of their new Automatic Lens Blocker products (3B & 3BX).
Most of my electrical design was focused primarily on the multiple variations of their Edger series of products (6E, 7E & 7EX).
Our goal now, is to provide expert electronics repair support for all your obsolete National Optronics service needs.

OUR SERVICES

Knowing the importance of having this equipment fully operational, and depending on your level of urgency, Interlaken offers three primary Overhaul Service options to meet your production demands.
(1) Standard Overhaul Services - Standard turn-around time is 7-10 days.
A full outline of the Overhaul Services can be disclosed after evaluation.
(2) Expedited Overhaul Services - Expedited Turn-around time is 48 Hrs.
We must first receive your serviceable item, conduct a full evaluation and receive a written approval of charges, before the 48 Hr clock starts ticking.
(3) Exchange Overhaul Services - After receiving your usable core, we can ship out an Overhauled replacement product, from our extensive inventory, once a confirmed payment transaction has been processed.
* Please note that return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. UPS is our preferred shipping provider. We can use a customer's shipping account number, an emailed shipping label or we can calculate the shipping charges and add it to the final invoice.
* Please note too that all services must be paid in full, prior to shipping.
We cannot return your product without first processing your payment!
